Title: Lip Service
Author: Aeshna
Fandom: X-Men: First Class
Rating: NC-17, slash
Word count: 526
Characters: Erik Lehnsherr, Charles Xavier
Summary: Oh yes. It really is all quite sinfully perfect.
Disclaimer: Not mine, no matter how many comics and toys I buy! Everything here belongs to Marvel and Fox.
Notes: So, [livejournal.com profile] raffi__ wanted to draw something smutty but was feeling too shy. I said that if she drew something and posted it, I'd write her a ficlet to go with it. In the event, she did two pics and I wrote her something for both of them. This is the first (the second is here). :) As ever, feedback of any variety is very much appreciated but not compulsory – I'll post anyway! I've suffered for my art, now it's your turn....

Very NSFW art under the cut.... )
Title: Potentials
Author: Aeshna
Fandom: X-Men: First Class
Rating: NC-17, slash
Word count: 2,266
Characters: Charles Xavier, Erik Lehnsherr
Summary: Lightning flashes, carving the sky apart with jagged brilliance, and Erik gasps, his head falling back with a soft laugh as the answering thunder roars.
Disclaimer: Not mine, no matter how many comics and toys I buy! Everything here belongs to Marvel and Fox.
Notes: I think I got this prompt from a Porn Battle that I just caught the end of. It seems to have taken me up to the start of the next PB to finish the thing.

Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] ximeria for the beta – any remaining weirdnesses are mine. Feedback of any variety is very much appreciated but not compulsory – I'll post anyway! I've suffered for my art, now it's your turn....

Mouse-over any non-English dialogue for translations. :)

Title: The Philosophy of Locusts
Author: Aeshna
Fandom: X-Men: First Class
Rating: PG, gen
Word count: 4,425
Characters: Charles Xavier, OFC
Summary: "Ah, child." Aiyat's smile was fond. "Angels and demons and mutated genes – the explanations of the age always match its expectations. I have seen this act played out too many times to be fooled by the words of priests and philosophers."
Disclaimer: Not mine, no matter how many comics and toys I buy! Everything here belongs to Marvel and Fox.
Notes: Written for a prompt on the [livejournal.com profile] 1stclass_kink kinkmeme. Given what I do for a living, I really couldn't resist this one.... :)

Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] cylin for sterling beta work – any remaining weirdnesses are mine. Feedback of any variety is very much appreciated but not compulsory – I'll post anyway! I've suffered for my art, now it's your turn....

Warnings: Character death
Summary: He wonders how hard the Neanderthals fought.
Disclaimer: Not mine, no matter how many comics and toys I buy! Everything here belongs to Marvel and Fox.
Notes: So, another alternate take on the beach scene. This was one of those (thankfully short) bunnies that sank its teeth in just as I was falling asleep – just as well that I always have a notebook within reach. :) Feedback of any variety is very much appreciated but not compulsory – I'll post anyway! Characters: Erik, Charles, Raven, Alex, Sean
Summary: It wouldn't be easy. But the things most worth the effort rarely were.
Disclaimer: Not mine, no matter how many comics and toys I buy! Everything here belongs to Marvel and Fox.
Notes: Written as a pinch-hit for the 2011 Summer Fic Exchange on [livejournal.com profile] erik_charles. Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] cylin for the beta – any remaining weirdnesses are mine. Feedback of any variety is very much appreciated but not compulsory – I'll post anyway! If I never have to look at another piece of bloody paperwork again in my life, I swear it will be too soon! )
Title: Peregine
Author: Aeshna
Fandom: X-Men: First Class
Rating: R, slash
Word count: 6510
Characters: Erik Lehnsherr, Charles Xavier
Summary: It was a flattering thought, that he might be the one to have finally called this hawk to his glove, but Erik was ultimately no-one's to own.
Disclaimer: Not mine, no matter how many comics and toys I buy! Everything here belongs to Marvel and Fox.
Notes: Written for a prompt on the [livejournal.com profile] xmen_firstkink kinkmeme:

I know this is a cliche prompt, but my kink is wings. Everything else is free game, but one or both men should have a set of wings.

Porn is wonderful, but I'd be just as pleased with fills that are fluffy.

I keep seeing Charles being fussy over Erik's wings and preening him when he feels Erik is upset/he's being affectionate.
This... really isn't the sort of prompt that I'd usually go for. To put it mildly. But my brain latched onto it and this happened. I think it almost counts as fluffy for me! There may well be more of this at some point, though I suspect that that might be rather less fluffy! Massive thanks to [livejournal.com profile] tawabids and [livejournal.com profile] celadonite for their lovely fanart - it really does give a writer the warm fuzzies to have illustrations for a fic. :D

Fic is also available on Ao3.

Erik, Charles knew, was no angel. )
Yes, I am still alive! 2010 has proved a busy year in many ways and I'm waaaay behind on my writing. Hopefully I'll catch up soon – I have so many things that are nearly done.... In the meantime, though:

This isn't a new fandom or a new piece of writing – in fact, it was first posted 10 years ago today, which is why it's getting dusted off and dumped on my journal now (for the record, it'll be the only fic that gets this treatment). Of everything I've written, this is probably the single piece that has received the most attention over the years and I still get fairly regular feedback for it on ff.net, where opinion seems divided between those who love it and those who want me burned at the stake! I'm still fairly pleased with it, though – it was intended to explore a concept and be thought-provoking, and it seems to have succeeded in that.

I almost re-posted this after Children of Earth aired – those of you who've read it before will know why!

Title: Small Sacrifices
Author: Aeshna
Fandom: Star Wars
Rating: PG-13, gen
Warnings: character death
Word Count: 4,801
Disclaimer: not mine. Everything here belongs to George Lucas.
Summary: Some promises are better off broken....
Notes: Some ideas seem to be universally seen as a Bad Thing by the Jedi, regardless of potential cost. This is a quick look at what might happen if the Jedi Council were a little less squeamish about certain things....

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] diamona for her wondrous beta, which ensured that the finished fic is a lot more angsty than the first draft was. Also thanks to [livejournal.com profile] clare_nce and [livejournal.com profile] resqdog51 for offering support and helpful suggestions along the way. It wouldn't be the same without you guys!
