Well, by s2, Gwen is an insider, so Rhys gets to take over that narrative function somewhat. And does it very well as he's not required to dash around on missions every week - he gets to lurk at the edges in a bemused/worried/fascinated fashion, which is basically what the viewers are doing.

Heh, with the Star Wars stories - are these written by "Smitty" or by "Aeshna"? I do have SW stuff out there, but the reason I write as Aeshna is because there was already a Smitty who did a big and well-received Anakin-centric series. I used to get their feedback on a regular basis and am just wondering if this is a bit more of it! :)
