Totally, but rather appropriate for a series set in Celtic country. I agree, there really wouldn't be too many Jack regarded as equals--& I suspect that was so *before* Omnipotent Rose immortalized him. As for Jack not being averse to the occasional theft: that boy's *proud* of pulling off a good theft.
