Thank you. :) I tend to see Jack as still coming to terms with his immortality in some ways - on the one one hand, it hurts to lose all these people, but on the other, he at least gets to know them and to remember them, and to know that there will always be others yet to come. He's too social a creature to wallow in his losses for long.
