I'm going to take a stab at that being a Primeval reference? In which case no - I've only ever seen an episode and a half of that, which was more than enough for me! ;) But coelacanths are a "living fossil" group, known from waaaaaay back in the fossil record but with (at least) two living species in the current day. They made the journey, they just did it the slow way. :)
