There were times when Jack looked at Gwen and saw Elouise in the curve of her hip and the swing of her dark hair, moments when he saw Andrea in her smile. The way Toshiko frowned in concentration reminded him of Henry, and of Felicity long before him, while Ianto's painfully dry humour was Lawrence to the core. Owen had Freddie's brilliance and Daffyd's focus, but was otherwise all too much like Jack himself.
So many years, so many teams, so many too-brief lives....
Jack regarded his current group fondly and wondered who might one day remind him of them.
