"Quiet night in, she says. 'Quality time'." Rhys grimaced as he opened the bathroom door – he really shouldn't have had that lunchtime curry. "Then Captain Bloody America calls!" Still, he had custody of the lasagne and Daff and Banana Boat were bringing beers. It could be worse. Apart from the Curry Bowel, of course.
They were out of air-freshener, but there was that perfume Gwen had dumped on the bedside table before duty called. Might smell a bit girly, but if it did the trick before the boys got there....
Rhys really hoped Gwen wouldn't ask about the broken sofa.
