This is simply beautiful; it has such a lyrical feel to it and the idea of Jack as a guardian spirit passing through the ages is brilliant. I wish that the episode itself would have given something like this to explain why Jack didn't go utterly insane being under the earth for that long, but this story gives him a purpose, a drive to make it through the time until he can help his team again. Great work.
