Thank you! :D That's pretty much the effect that I was going for - Jack as a sort of guardian spirit over the centuries, even if he has no awareness of it (and hopefully he's going to be Cardiff's guardian spirit for some centuries yet, now that he's back in the land of the conscious!). The existing mythology lent itself really rather nicely. :)
