I wasn't really worried about the auction fic, but it's also nice to hear something. :) And I totally understand the "slightly mad" issue--I'm still working on the SP's runner up auction fic in the midst of the madness. (Of course, it's rapidly expanding toward 20,000 words, so I suppose bloat shares the blame with end-of-year madness).
