Snow!!!

Which is no doubt nothing to be happy about for many on my flist, but we see it so very rarely here in central London that it's something to get excited about! We're meant to be getting quite a bit more overnight, but here's Hoxton-in-the-snow as of about 2330 this evening....

Going to be interesting seeing how the Tube copes with it, but hopefully they'll be running tomorrow as work should be rather scenic if it carries on like this! :D

Oh man. I've never been in snow, so these kinds of photos always fascinate me :)

Three times in less than 12 months after *fifteen* years in London where it settled once for more than overnight?

Snow's gone from "endangered species" to "coping well with reintroduction to the wild" around here. Next thing, it'll be battling the urban foxes. Or a pelican will eat it in St James's Park.

Gorgeous shooting. I only have the pics from when it was already on the ground.

Very nice shots.

Like the icon, too.

That's seriously pretty. Makes we want to get the next plane so I can see London covered in snow ;-)

Have fun... it gets old after a week ;)

Looks lovely :) I watched ours falling from work earlier today (mostly melted now :( ), whilst waiting for the boiler repair man, by the heat of a two-bar electric fire. But hey - at least I know I can type with my gloves on now!
