Suzie shook her head. "How do you run in those things?"
"Practice." Toshiko smiled as she admired the sleek lines of the shoe in her hands, trailing her fingers along the slender stem of the heel. "They're really not as impractical as you'd think."
"Tosh, we're here because you broke a heel on a manhole cover chasing down a Weevil." Suzie raised a dark eyebrow, amused. "That's not impractical?"
"Some people just have no sense of style," Toshiko sighed. She turned to the shop assistant hovering nearby. "Excuse me, I don't suppose you have these with steel toecaps, do you?"
