There was a light dusting of something on Gwen's desk that morning, fine grey fibres scattered across her notepad and chair, floating in the cold half-cup of coffee. She frowned and bent to peer more closely at it, wondering if this was Rift debris. She should take a sample for –

"Got you as well, did she?" Toshiko asked, peering over Gwen's shoulder. "I swear, it's all over my keyboard."

Gwen turned her head to look at her. "What is it?"

"Spring." The other woman sighed and pointed upwards. "Pterosaurs are furry."

"Myfanwy's shedding?"

"Yup." Toshiko grinned. "Hope you're not allergic!"

Heh heh! Having a little furball of my own (see icon), I sympathize! And knowing how much my eleven-pound mutt sheds in a season, I'd guess Myfanwy can shed enough to make Jack a new coat every year!
