aeshna_ukIt's been a very long night and, while the pub was fabulous until they switched the TV off at 2:45am, I've been to far less partisan pantos (though the cheering and booing at the TV was a LOT of fun)!!! ;) But it was all worth it in the end and it looks like, visas permitting, I might be getting to go to a country with a sane and educated leader. It's been a long time coming and the ride won't always be smooth, but I suddenly feel an awful lot more comfortable about things to come.
Not going to bed just yet - still watching things dribble in at the last and I've booked tomorrow off work. But I do feel oddly fuzzy about events across the Pond. Thank you to everybody who made that possible. :)
