Title: Colour Blind
Fandom: Doctor Who
Characters: Pete Tyler
Rating: PG
Notes: A post-Doomsday drabble on a subject that has been bugging me since Father's Day.... :)
She called him 'Dad', but she wasn't his daughter.
It didn't matter. Not really.
Jackie was happy, happier than he could ever remember her – the other her, the one he'd loved, lost – and that mattered. She was his second chance, his anchor, the mother of his child, his life, and when he looked into her eyes their past, their pasts, were erased, every mistake and wasted moment. He could drown in his Jackie's eyes, as blue as his own, as blue as their child's would be....
He'd never ask where Rose's brown eyes came from.
It didn't matter.
Not really.
